Availability of Auxiliary Tank for Gasoline

Question:

Good morning. I have a 2024 Silverado 1500 with a 6.2 L. I tow a camper long distances in the summer and was wondering if there’s an auxiliary tank made for gasoline, That I could plumb into the fill hose for the main tank? I’m only looking for roughly a 30 gallon tank that would fit under a tonneau. Just wondering if it’s possible or there’s any known issues? Thanks for your time. Mike

Hi Mike, there are tanks out there for gasoline but it is not something that we carry. The only one we have that fits your Silverado is designed for diesel fuel. You will have to find one that fits and is rated for specifically for gasoline.
