Hi We have a new Fiat 500 Sport and need to get the base plate code bx 2800, but can I use this older tow bar Aventa 2 and is this and old unit work will with this set up. Thank you

The Blue Ox # BX2800 base plate kit is compatible with your Fiat 500 Sport, and the plate kit is also compatible with the Aventa II Tow Bar you have, according to Blue Ox.
To safely flat tow your vehicle, you'll also need safety cables (usually included with Blue Ox Tow Bars), a lighting solution like # C6304 and a supplemental braking system like the Roadmaster # RM-9400.
