Hi Pete; the GE Profile Ducted RV Range Hood # GE44VR has a sound level that is approximately 50 dBA. This is considered to be the equivalent of a refrigerator hum or quiet conversation so it isn't very loud. Your typical conversation is around 60dBA so it isn't even that high.
