Will Firestone Air Suspension Upgrade Fit A 2025 Toyota Tundra With B&W Gooseneck Hitch?

Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 12/08/2025

Question:

I’ve got a BandW gooseneck in my 2025 Tundra. Before I order, is this Firestone wireless air bag kit compatible with in-bed hitches?

Rob, good thinking checking that - and yes, the Firestone air bag suspension kit # F59XV kit is compatible with in-bed 5th wheel and gooseneck hitches on the 2025 Tundra. Firestone designed the brackets to mount under the frame rails, so they don’t interfere with hitch hardware.

Just make sure your truck doesn’t have the OEM rear air suspension, because that’s the only version this kit won’t fit.

This kit is an all-in-one setup with wireless control and compressor; you won't need anything else! What kind of trailer are you pulling with the B&W system?

Thanks Andrew. Our gooseneck is a 24-foot equipment trailer and the back of the truck drops a good bit when we load it. Do the airbags help with that front-end light feeling too?

@Rob Absolutely, Rob - that light steering feel is really common with heavy gooseneck pin weight. Once you inflate the # F59XV bags and bring the 2025 Tundra and trailer back to level, you put weight back on the front axle. That tightens up your steering and braking, and the whole setup feels much more controlled.

Hey , I’ve got the same B&W hitch. Andrew - does the compressor for the air bag system mount inside the bed or underneath

@Bill Hey there Bill. The compressor mounts underneath the truck, not in the bed. Firestone includes a no-drill bracket that clamps to the frame rail, so it stays protected and out of the way of your gooseneck setup.
