Does All Trailer Wiring Use the Correct Colors

I have RV wire that said the green is for running lights and brown is for right turn and my marker light that I want to hookup has black and we’re do I hook the marker light to.

Hey Richard, so not every trailer wiring setup uses the industry wire colors unfortunately so in those cases you need to wire by function instead. So if your RV has green for running lights that is what you need to match that circuit to on your marker light that is black. You can use a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 to determine the functions of the wires if you aren't sure what does what.
