Question:

For Thor Magnitude RS36RV on a 2022 F-600 Chassis. The main goal is to reduce general road vibration. But helping sway is a secondary benefit. Sway is not as bad as when on F550 Chasis, but of course there is some. Timbren front helper spring TFF5550SDE has 8,000lb capability vs SumoSpring SSF-111-54 2,800lb capability. Big difference in added load support. Which one is better for my RV to mainly reduce road vibration, plus help sway??? I will also put helper springs on the back.

Hey Don, welcome back! With all of the weight in the front of the F-600 I would choose the higher capacity Timbren SES # TFF550SDE. SumoSprings are great when you're throwing them on the back of a vehicle and worried about unloaded ride quality. The Timbren SES excels with heavier applications like yours.

These will help absorb that road shock and cut down the vibration. As you mentioned, you will also get sway reduction since they act independently and will push back as the vehicle moves side to side. I would add the SES to the rear as well # TFRSDE.

Any big trips coming up with your motorhome?

Hey Don, how did the ride feel after adding the Timbren SES to your F-600? I'm curious if you noticed a big difference in road vibration and sway on your motorhome. Your feedback could really help others setting up similar RVs.
