Hello Rafael,

We don’t have the hardware kit for the baseplates. The Replacement Hardware Kit for Roadmaster Crossbar Base Plate 521190-1 # RM-521190-1HK is only the hardware to mount the flat parts on a crossbar-style baseplate.

Baseplates are designed to be used on one vehicle only and are considered compromised once removed from the first vehicle, so the safest option would be to replace the entire Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # 1175-3.

It wouldn’t hurt to reach out to Roadmaster directly to see if they can provide the hardware, especially if the kit hasn’t been installed yet.

Did you remove the baseplate off of a different vehicle? What other flat towing components do you have?

Hey Rafael, were you able to get the hardware or replacement base plate sorted out for your Tacoma? Knowing what ended up working could help others trying to reuse their flat tow setup.

@Rafael Normally the instructions will attach to the page, I am not sure why they did not. I am going to try to attach them, if they do not attach you can go to the # 1175-3 product page, right above "Customers compare 1175-3 to these similar products" you will see a link to click that says "Installation Details," that will be the PDF instructions. If you are not able to open the instructions, please let me know.
