Question:
Hello, Im considering the Westin Pro-e power motorized running boards for my 2025 Ram 3500 Crew Cab SRW short bed. Looks like they will fit the truck OK, but I am concerned about the weight rating. The written specs in your product description state a 600 lb rating, but your description video states 300 lbs. I need to know which it is... because sadly it matters to me. I dont want to over stress them and have them fail prematurely. Please let me know. Best regards

Hey Will, that's a great question. The Westin Pro-E Power Motorized Running Boards with LED Lights item # W47EC have a combined 600 lbs capacity and an individual capacity of 300 lbs per step. I'll try to get that information updated on our website because I can see how that would cause confusion. The capacity of the steps is limited to how strong the mounting points are. These steps attach to the rocker panels not the frame.
The Westin Pro-E Power Motorized Running Boards with LED Lights item # W47EC are confirmed to fit your 2025 Ram 3500 Crew Cab.
The only other option I have for powered running boards are the Aries ActionTrac Motorized Running Boards with Custom Installation Kit item # AA3047912. These have a slightly higher capacity of 325 lbs per step.
