Question:
Can I move the Heat Magnet from my tractor to my generator without damaging it?

You sure can, Doris - that’s one of the big perks of the Zerostart Heat Magnet # ZE35MR. It’s fully reusable/moveable: just unplug, lift it by the handle, and place it on the next metal surface and plug it back in. The built-in thermostat protects it even during extended use, so you can swap between machines as needed and just leave plugged in.
Are both units steel-pan engines? That’ll confirm you’ll get full magnetic hold on each.

Thanks, Andrew. Both my tractor and generator have steel pans. Can I leave it plugged in on the generator all night or should I only run it a few hours before starting?
