Can I Use Meyer HomePlow Snow Plow On Compact Tractor With 2" Receiver Up Front?

Question:
Do you have anything that’ll fit a compact tractor with a 2-inch receiver up front?

Hey Frank. If your tractor has a true 2" Class III front receiver and a 12-volt power source, the HomePlow # ME28FR would fit. It’s light, all-steel, and auto-angling, so it’ll clear drives easily.
Just note that Meyer rates these plows for 1/2-ton or smaller vehicles, and offroad utility vehicles. Since you have a tractor, it technically is not rated to work with it. While it will still function and be fine mechanically, you'd be on your own as far as warranty goes since it's not rated for tractor use. That being said, check that your receiver height is between 10"–13" for the best blade angle.
We do have a couple ScoopDogg branded plows specifically for small tractors, but they don't install onto a 2" receiver. Just let me know if you want to go that route and we can look at options.
Are you usually plowing packed snow or light powder?
