Looking For A Gas Absorption Style Fridge With Better Storage

Hello Etrailer...looking at the Furrion 8 cu ft 12V refrigerator part FR36GD on your website. From the pictures you provide on the website, it appears this refrigerator has only two shelves in the main fridge and only 2 shelves on the door. Is that all there is? No options for additional shelving? Hard for me to believe a refrigerator would be made this way! Please let me know. I am in the market for an 8 cu ft 12V refrigerator. Refrigerator must be absorption style. Compressor styles draws too much energy. Thanks!

Hey Matt,
The Furrion Arctic # FR36GD does only have 2 internal shelves, and 2 shelves on the door in the fridge area. Both are adjustable to be moved to different heights. If you are wanting more storage in the fridge we have a similar Norcold Polar # NC73FR that features 3 shelves and 2 drawers in the fridge as well as 3 shelves in the door. That is the same 8 Cu Ft as the Furrion but features that extra storage.
What kind of trailer are you putting this in?

Hi Nick, Thanks for your reply. The refrigerator you suggested is a compressor style. My application is a Propane/AC refrigerator conversion to a 12V model in a truck camper. The compressor style consumes to much energy. I need an absorption style like the Furrion. If you have other 8 cu ft absorption style rv refrigerators... do let me know. You say the shelving in the Furrion is adjustable. From the pictures I saw, it doesn't look like there are many adjustable options. The walls don't have a wide variety of slots to easily to move shelving... unless there is something I cannot see in the pictures. Feel free to email me detailed pictures of the inside of the refrigerator if I am wrong. Thanks!
