Question:
Is the MXS59FR overkill for my tandem 10K equipment trailer?

Not at all, Ray. In fact, that’s ideal. Four of the # MXS59FR tires give you 16,320 lbs total capacity, so you’ll be comfortably under their limits even when fully loaded. They’re perfect for long highway runs where heat is the enemy.
Just make sure your trailer uses this wheel size (16" 8 on 6-1/2") and this tire size (235/80R16).
How often do you haul all that weight?
