Hey Rick, thanks for reaching out!

The Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs # AL59518 should never be deflated below 5 psi when not in use. This is simply to keep just enough air in them to help keep the bags from getting pinched if your factory suspension were to bottom out.

You're also welcome to use them without any load in your Chevy Blazer if you'd like a little extra support.

What do you mainly plan on using them for? I typically recommend adding an air compressor system when installing air bag kits on a truck, but I know it isn't always necessary for passenger style vehicles.

Hey Rick, how did things go with the Air Lift Ride Control springs on your Blazer? Did keeping that 5 psi minimum give you the ride quality you wanted when unloaded? Your update could make it easier for others setting up the same kit.
