Does USB Output of Multi Device RV Charging Station Step Down to 5 Volts

2016 Forester I was going to get this item until I noticed the electric specs for my cell Does this item have to be wired separately to drop down to 5v 2.0 amp?

Hey Myron, this is a good question but no you do not have to do any extra steps to get the USB output of the part # 37215095 down to 5 volts when wired to a 12 volt power source. It steps down the voltage to the 5 volts internally. Are you going to charge a phone with this?
