Will Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger Transfer Modes

Question:
I am just looking into inverters to power my residential fridge while traveling. Will this unit transfer to inverter mode without powering the converter and trying to charge the batteries at the same time?

Hey Jake! Assuming it is installed/wired correctly, the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter Charger # 34280055 will only charge the batteries when you have shore power. The transfer switch automatically changes from inverter to shore power when you hook up at the campground. If you already have a power center with a converter it is possible to run it through that panel but you would have to flip off the breaker for the power center converter to prevent a power loop where it is sent back to the batteries.
