Is a reese sidewinder 68220 20k compatible with a Curt A20?

Hey Tim!

Yes, the Reese Sidewinder Pin Both # RP34FR (which replaced the 68220) will work great with a Curt A20 hitch, like the universal # C16140, but you'll need to use the Sidewinder Wedge # C27NR for the Curt A20.

@TimH Per the note on the A20 product page: "This fifth-wheel hitch is compatible with rotating pin boxes, such as the first generation Reese Sidewinder, Reese Revolution, and 5th Airborne Sidewinder, only when used with a wedge (sold separately)." Curt has changed their tune on a rotating pin box being used with the A-Series 5th wheel hitches, so you might have found outdated information somewhere. As of this comment, Curt is okay with rotating pin boxes, like the Sidewinder, being used with their A-Series hitches.

@JonG I guess I have the Curt A25 but I am assuming its takes the same wedge?

@Tim Correct - the Wedge # C27NR is for A-Series 5th wheel hitches in general since they all have the same "funnel" for the king pin.
