Question:
Does the Fogatti FG26FR need a minimum water flow to work properly and ignite?

Yes, Cheryl. The Fogatti InstaShower Tankless Water Heater for RVs and campers # FG26FR needs at least 1 gallon per minute of flow to ignite properly (from city water hookup, or from your rv tank). That’s about what you’d see at a bathroom sink or low-flow shower. Standard RV pumps provide plenty of flow at 40–55 PSI, so you should be ok unless your water pump is bad. As far as city water hookup goes, that's normally fine, but you can always add a regulator like # CAM40064 to make sure it's all set up correctly.
Also, this water heater comes in a white door model # FG86FR in case you want that instead of the black door.
Do you usually camp on city water hookups or rely on your RV pump? That’ll help me suggest if you might want a flow regulator or accumulator tank.
