Roof Rack for Tent on 2021 Nissan Rogue With Naked Roof

Hello, I’m looking for an inexpensive roof rack for roof tent for my 21 Nissan rogue with a naked roof. Which roof bars would you recommend for a roof tent? Thanks

Hi David; the Inno Square Bar Roof Rack # IN88YR you looked at would be the best option. However, rooftop tents typically require a roof rack that is mounted to flush rails or raised rails on the vehicle. The clamp on style for a naked roof probably won't work with your tent. What kind of tent do you have? I would check with the manufacturer to see if they allow it before picking up a roof rack.

@David I looked at the page and I don't see anything about the roof rack requirements on there. I also didn't see a manual to look through and see if it was listed. You will need to reach out to the manufacturer and ask them if it is ok. I can tell you major companies like Front Runner, Thule, and Yakima would not approve it with a clamp on roof rack.
