Can The Exterior LED Utility Light For RVs And Enclosed Trailers Be Mounted Vertically?

Question:
Can I mount the gray version vertically, like next to the entry door on my Coachmen?

Expert Reply:
Yes, Ron - orientation doesn’t affect the LED board inside. The # M388FR will shine just fine whether horizontal or vertical. Mounted next to a door, it’ll give you a nice spread of light downward for steps. Keep in mind, the light is not adjustable like some other models, so the orientation you mount it will be fixed in that specific orientation!
Do you want more patio coverage or more step-focused lighting? I'd recommend mounting it as intended, facing down instead of to the side, if you want the ground lit up as much as possible.
