Why Wouldn't the MORryde Jerry Can Carrier Work with Nissan Xterra

Question:

Hello- What makes this product jeep specific? I have a 2015 Nissan Xterra with a swing-out spare tire on the bumper. See pic. Why wont it work on this? Or will it? Thanks!

Hey Denis, the problem is the wheel bolt pattern. The MORryde Jerry Can Mount for Spare Tire # MR99MR is designed to fit the Jeep Wrangler bolt pattern of 5 on 5 inch and I can see in your picture that your Xterra has a 6 lug bolt pattern so it would not work. I wish we had something similar that fit your Xterra but at this time we do not.

Hey Denis, did you find a different solution for mounting a jerry can on your Xterra? I'm curious because it might help others with similar setups.

@JamesonC Hello- I may have, but am not sure yet. I ordered this from a company called Roxterra, and it may work. I haven't received it yet, so I don't know for sure!
