Parts Needed to Use Reese 5th Wheel Hitch From 2005 Silverado 2500 in 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

I have a 2005 Chevy 2500 with a 16k Reese 5th wheel hitch, Im looking to buy a 2025 Chevy 2500 but it does NOT have the 5th wheel package. Do you have what I need so I can add my old hitch to the new truck?

Hi Kim; I'm assuming your old Reese 5th wheel hitch installs on industry standard rails. Since your 2025 Silverado 2500 does not have the prep package you can use the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC Truck # C16429-204. This kit comes with custom brackets and base rails so you will be able to mount the 5th wheel hitch in your new truck.
