Are Any Other Parts Needed To Use The Tekonsha Prodigy RF TK94FR With A 2018 Chevy Equinox?

RE: TK94FR prodigy Brake Controller. I have a 2018 Chevy Equinox with factory installed 7 pin connecter. I will tow either a single or dual axle trailer. Please confirm that the TK94FR will not require any modifications to the wiring of the Equinox and or additional components beyond those in the brake controller kit.

Since your 2018 Chevy Equinox has the factory 7-way installed, the Tekonsha Prodigy RF Wireless Brake Controller - Trailer Mount w Remote - 1 to 3 Axles - Proportional # TK94FR will not need any modifications or other parts. All this needs is a working 7-way on the vehicle and you are good to go!

Thank you for your explicit response. It was exactly what I had hoped for. I will acquire a single axle trailer that would be something like a Nucamp teardrop that has a GVW not exceeding 3500 lbs. JOHN
