What kind of oil do you use in them?

Hey Teresa. I checked with Dexter and for their Dual Hydraulic Jack System w/ Double Acting Pump item # DX42CR they recommend using Dexron III ATF.
Depending on what climate you are operating in you may need to use a synthetic hydraulic fluid rated for aircrafts. MIL-H-83283 is recommended for use in extreme cold environments.
