What is the Outer Diameter and Air Pressure Rating for Firestone Air Tubing

Question:
Can you tell me if this tubing is 1/4 inch ID or OD, and what is the maximum working pressure? Im using it to repair an air compressor.

Expert Reply:
Firestone air hose, # F9416, is 1/4 inch outside diameter. If you hover your mouse over the picture you can see the writing on the tube indicating 1/4 OD. The tubing is used for Firestone air bag suspension systems which can handle pressures up to 150 psi. The tubing can probably handle a little more than that but for safety it is not recommended to go over 150 psi.
