Question:
I have a 2009 Keystone Passport Ultralite 285RL travel trailer. I need a new air conditioner. My current air conditioner is a Dometic 13,500btu. My trailer has a wall mounted thermostat and is ducted for air distribution. What AC unit should I be looking at?

Hi Josh!
With the switch to the new R32 coolant, you will need to do a full replacement. None of the older R410a coolant parts will work with new systems, so it does make it a little more difficult, unfortunately.
We do have everything you need though, and I have two options listed below:
Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 13,500 Btu - Black - R32 # ADV85SR
Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - Black - R32 # ADV62SR
I included a 15k unit as it isn't much more than the 13.5k one and will do a better job of keeping your 2009 Keystone Passport Ultra Lite 285RL travel trailer cool. Either will work though and both can be used with Ducted or Ductless set ups.
Is the Dometic you currently have installed the original AC unit?

Yes. It is the original unit If I order one of the options you listed, will I need anything else or will that be everything I need? Does it include thermostat?
