Question:
I’m looking for something portable to warm a 12x16 ice house for day trips. Would the Travelbox 2.0 do the trick?

Absolutely, Marty. The Travelbox heater 2.0 # AU36MR is a solid choice for ice shacks. Just set it outside the shelter, run the hot air duct through the wall or a floor vent, and you’ve got clean, dry heat without needing a generator or open flame. Just don’t run it inside the shack, and make sure the exhaust vents safely away from foot traffic.
What do you normally do to heat that place? I imagine there's not a lot of options without power, aside from generator and solar use. This box does need to be charged after about 9 hours of heating the place, so make sure you have a vehicle with 12v cigarette outlet or a 110v outlet to charge it with the onboard charger.
