How Do You Measure To Get The Correct Crossbar Spread Dimension?

Question:

Hi there, For the roof mounted Inno Quick Base it says that the roof racks spread cannot be more than 33-3/16. Is that spread dimension center to center, out to out or inside to inside of the roof rack cross bars? The video says 31-1/2inch apart. Again, is that inside to inside or center to center or out to out. Thank you

Hey Boyd,

For that Inno Quick Base # IN34MR when it talks about minimum and maximum crossbar spread being 23 5/8"-33-3/16" that is going to refer to the center to center measurement. Center of one cross bar to the other. As long as it is between those 2 measurements it will work just fine. Anything measured for roof rack accessories is going to take the center to center measurement.
