Question:
I have a 2019 Audi Q5 Premium Plus with the factory tow package and am looking for a brake controller. plan on towing a small Casita travel trailer. Dont like all the 1* reviews on the Curt, but I did like the low profile mount and simple design. The Tekonsha Primus IQ also seems to fit that bill and even comes plug and play it appears. Does the Tekonsha Prodigy 2 have a plug in wiring adapter to the plug under the Q5 dash? If so what is the price including the adapter? Could I use velcro tape to mount either of the Tekonshas rather than the clunky bracket that lets the unit infringe on my knee room? And does the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty red one come with wiring adapter for my 2019 Q5? It looks like the Elite might but I dont need the bells and whistles of that one. I would prefer to be able to turn off a brake controller when not using it, but I gather that they all stay on now? Is that correct, and if so do they all go to sleep and not emit lights when not being used? Thanks for your help. Rob
