It sure is. One of the big perks of a 12V fridge like the Everchill 4.5 cu ft # EV96RR is that it can run safely while you’re on the road. Just make sure your trailer’s 12V system is getting power through the 7-way from your tow vehicle, or you’ve got enough battery capacity to carry it through the road trip.
A DC/DC charger is also a great upgrade if you drive long distances - this would take your alternator current and send it to the battery bank and stay topped off even when the fridge is running.
What is your battery and charger situation looking like? You could always consider solar as well if you don't want to mess with 7 way charging methods.
