How Tall Do the Side Rails Have to Be to Use the Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist w/ Chain?

Question:
I have a landscape trailer that is 7x 14 and the sides and ramp are even at 6 tall is there anything that would work for a ramp lift assist?

Not for sides that tall Pj. All of our ramp assists like the Rack'Em Double Barrel Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist w/ Chain item # RA-27C require the sides to be significantly lower. This one only works with side rail heights of 10" to 15" from the bottom of the trailer bed.
