Yes Brad, the Napier Sportz SUV Tent # NA49FR works great as a standalone tent too. Just zip up the vehicle sleeve when you detach the SUV and you’re all set. That way, if you want to go grab supplies or explore during the day, you don’t have to tear down your whole camp.
What vehicle do you have? You may have room for a small air mattress in the trunk like the Napier Sportz Air Mattress w/ Built-In Pump # NA56FR if you decide to leave it attached. You could then sleep more like 7 people instead of 5.
