Can Gear Be Stored In Thule Outset Tent During Travel?

Can I store gear in it during travel or is it just a tent?

Hey Tamika! The Thule Outset # TH34FR39XB is primarily a tent, so you won’t want to use it as a cargo carrier during travel. There’s no internal tie-down system or lockable compartments, and because it deploys by swinging out and unfolding, loose gear inside could damage the fabric or make it difficult to set up.
We’ve seen folks store soft sleeping bags, pads, or camp blankets inside if they’re snug and secure, but no hard gear or loose tools, especially while driving. Hope that helps! Out of curiosity, what did you have in mind?
If you have large items, I'd recommend a Roof Cargo Box if you have crossbars or a roof that can accept crossbars. Let me know what you think and tell me your vehicle info and I'll find something for you. :)
