Will Hooks of Gladiator Utility Cargo Net Fit on Thule Canyon Basket

Question:

Will the hooks attach to a Thule Canyon XT roof rack? Looks like the D rings attach to the netting and then there is a hook that attaches and secures the netting to the truck or roof rack. Just not sure about the size of those hooks.

Get Shawn, yes the hooks on the Gladiator Utility Cargo Net # GC67FR that you referenced are the correct size to fit the railings of the Thule Canyon XT cargo baskets like the part # TH859XT. What are you planning to secure on the basket? Hopefully not your Aunt Edna...

Jameson, I received the Gladiator cargo net I ordered. Just to add more clarification to my question and your response, the coated hooks that came with the net do fit the smaller rails of the ThuleCanyon XT basket but they do not fit the larger rails. FYI- The larger rails are at the top perimeter of the basket and at the bottom of the basket on the right and left sides. As for feedback to Gladiator, the hooks could be bigger to accommodate more rail sizes. As they are, they may fit most customer tie-down applications. Hope this helps future customers. Thanks-Shawn
