Adding Second Furrion Chill AC To 2024 Catalina 18RDL

Question:

I have a 2024 Catalina 18RDL with the Furrion Chill Low Profile AC 13,500 BTU unit and I want to purchase another one since my unit came pre wired for 2 units. My ductwork runs adjacent to the 2nd unit location, but I need to know what materials I will need to connect to my existing ductwork. Can you provide me with a comprehensive list for this project please? Thank you.

Hello Randy, thanks for reaching out. It is possible to add another Furrion Chill HE Low-Profile AC to your camper. For that I recommend the following:

- Furrion Chill HE Low-Profile Replacement RV Roof Air Conditioner Unit - 13,500 Btu - White - R32 # FR69AD

Assuming you already have a thermostat and multi zone controller this would come with everything you need. You get the AC unit and the necessary components for connecting it to your ducted system.

If you are wanting to run both units as single zone use the # FR86AD instead. This comes with the AC unit, single zone controller, distribution box and thermostat.
