Do You Have a Replacement Stinger for a Thule Helium Aero Bike Rack?

Question:

my stinger knob on my thule helium aero bike rack doesnt engage to tighten up the hitch. Do you have replacement stingers for these? Maybe I just need a new knob? thanks

Hey Sharon. The replacement stinger for the Thule Helium Aero bike racks has been discontinued and I could not find a replacement knob either. If you can find a replacement stinger it's going to be pretty costly. The last time I saw one it was almost half the cost of a brand new rack. I recommend upgrading your Helium Aero with the more modern Thule Helium Pro Bike Rack for 3 Bikes item # TH9043PRO.

The Thule Helium Pro item # TH9043PRO fits all 1-1/4" and 2" receivers. It has a 37-1/2 lbs per bike capacity and weighs only 20 lbs. The biggest difference between the Helium Pro and the Aero is that the Pro uses a much more durable and reliable ratchet strap as opposed to the rubber strap on the Aero, which can stretch and break quite easily.

Additionally, the cradles come with a foam-rubber padding that will help protect the finish on the bike much better than the cradles that came on the Aero.
