What Angle Does the Light Shine on the LED Porch or Deck Light # TN38XR

Question:
Re: TecNiq Boat Lights - TN38XR The description says, Emits 100 degrees of bright light, But there is no further explanation about that. What does that mean? It also says, Cover positions unit so that light shines downward. And Jeff says, ...when you install this, it points the light going down. Down? Im hoping it shines the light away. I don't need to illuminate the side of my RV, I want to illuminate the 10 to 15 feet out from it. Can you explain this with more detail? Is it possible that 100 degreesinch is the angle up from downward? Maybe a diagram would be useful – yafoot know, the picture and a thousand words thing. : ~R

Hey Rob, the 100 degree is in relation to the RV basically. So imagine the RV side as 0 degrees it would angle up 100 degrees from that. It definitely does not just point down and does light up the area to the side of your RV. If I still had photoshop I'd make you a diagram that showed this.

Thank you, Jameson. Excellent answer, clears that up. It is what I was expecting, only thing that made sense. BTW, I like that these have a stainless steel cover, for looks and durability. (Also, I'm with you on the frustration with the Adobe products.)
