Brake Controller Recommendation for 2010 Volvo VNL64T

Question:

I have a 2010 Volvo VNL64T and i want to pull a 2001 take 3 power lift 3 car trailer with electric brakes what controller and wring kit will be best for my rig.

Hey Kenneth, the P2 brake controller part # 90885 would be a great option for an electric trailer brake controller as its widely known as the best performing and most reliable option around. Do you have trailer wiring already that matches the trailer you plan to tow? It most likely has a 7-way on it but your rig might have a 7-way round that has a different taillight setup.

@KennethB You'd want a 7-way kit like the part # HM11141144 but then to convert the style of trailer lighting where the stop lights and turn signals are on the same circuit you'd want the part # C59236.
