Hello Kurt, thanks for reaching out. The part you are looking for is the Draw-Tite 30550 and sadly, this part has been discontinued. We sold our last one back in 2009, so it has been unavailable for quite some time. At this point the only solution I can offer would be a whole new gooseneck rail adapter like the Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails # 16055.

@Kurt Yes that would be the Reese part 30550 but this was discontinued back in 2009 and is no longer available. Unless you can find one secondhand somehow, there is no way to get one.

@JesseM this is interesting as i just bought this a year ago. What do you carry that will replace the whole assembly?

@Kurt The whole assembly the Reese 58079 was available more recently, just Reese has not sold the replacement ball for a long time. The # 58079 actually shows an extended backorder currently, so they may be making a comeback at some point. Either way, our most cost-effective option for a replacement is the Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails # 16055. There are several other adapters that can work in place of the Reese 30550, but the Curt I mentioned is the best value. It will replace the whole assembly and give you a 25K rated gooseneck ball in your bed. It also has a 3" offset to help with turning clearance.
