SuperSprings or Hellwig Load Pro 35 For 2000 Ford F-350

Updated 09/08/2025 | Published 06/04/2025

Question:

Hello I have a f350 2000 srw truck that I use as a work truck on my ranch. Hauling water tanks in the bed, trailers with tractors/ cattle/ and hay and drive frequently off road but also use it as a daily sometimes. I'm interested and stuck at the same time with two of your products. The hellwig 25 and the super spring 3400 capacity and was hoping to get some insight on what yall would recommend on what has been the better product between the two with your product and any other advice you're willing to share

Hey Paul! What kind of cattle do you have? Both are good systems that offer the same level of support. However, for your particular use I would choose the Hellwig Load Pro 35 # HE22XR. The Hellwig is a really simple system that mounts to your leaf springs using U-bolts. The SuperSprings # SSA13 are a bit fancier with the rollers and shackle. This works well but, with the nature of your work and frequent off-road use I think you're better off with the simple system that won't have any issues if you get a bunch of dirt debris up in there.

Hey Paul, did you decide to go with the Hellwig Load Pro 35 for your truck? I’d love to hear how it’s working out for your off-road and hauling needs, as it could help others with similar work requirements.
