Is there a Blue Ox Base Pate for My 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, Can I use Blue Ox Tow Bar with Curt Base

Question:

We have a 2014 Chevy Equinox. Is there a Blue Ox base plate that will fit it. If so please send the link to part number and installation video. If not, please tell me if the Curt can be used by the Blue Ox tow bar

I do not see a Blue Ox base plate kit for your 2014 Chevrolet Equinox.

The great news is that the Curt Custom Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # C53FR is a great fit, and is also compatible with your Blue Ox tow bars.

Any big trips planned for once you get things all set-up? If so, where are you headed?

The fish wires were the wrong size, too big to go through the holes in frame. The installation is not as easy as the video shows.

@TammyW I am very sorry to hear that the install did not go more smoothly Tammy. I will be passing the information about the fishwires being too large to Curt to see if they have heard of this issue before. Thanks for taking the time with the feedback.
