Do You a Dead Bolt Camper Door Latch for My Sundowner Horse Trailer with 5" By 5 1/2" Opening?

Question:
I am looking for a camper door latch for my Sundowner horse trailer. The opening in the the door is 5 x 5.5 and the door is 1-3/8 thick. I was looking for a latch with a dead bolt. Thanks.

Hello Luke,
The best option we have would be the size you were looking at, the Bauer Products Camper Door Lock - Black # BA65FR. Since this fits a cutout of 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall. You might need to make your opening a 1/4" wider, but then fill in the height with some wood or some other material.
What kind of horses do you have? Do you show, race, etc?
