Can Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack Be Added To 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon

I have a 22 power wagon and I’m wondering if I would be able to mount this roof rack without having to drill holes in the roof of my truck?

Hey Doug! The RuggedLine HD Mounting System that comes with the # Y64NJ will not be able to mount on your 2022 Ram 2500. This is designed for 1500 models and not a fit for your truck. Yakima doesn't have this mounting system available for a 2500 with a crew cab but that doesn't mean you can't use the LockNLoad Platform.
What you need instead is a roof rack like the Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack # Y36AB. This will clamp onto the naked roof of your Ram and act as the mounting point for the platform. Then you can add the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars # Y05045-39. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out below.

Hey Robin, I ended up buying a Yakima Baseline clamp and crossbar system at Rack Attack in Tempe Az. I wanted to have crossbars because I already have a Yakima 6 1/2’ shade canopy and a Skinny Warrior basket and a Thule enclosed roof top box. I got wide bars so that the canopy is out away from the roof edge and everything fits nicely on the bars
