To install the Front Hitch 31241 the OEM front tow hooks must be removed. Does the front hitch provide the same capability for towing as the OEM tow hooks did?

Hello John, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch # 31241 can be used for towing/recovery just like the OEM tow hooks. The hitch as a 9,000 lb line pull rating. You could use a shackle like part # TMX82ZR to attach to the 2" receiver.
The Curt # 31241 is the correct fit for the 2020 Nissan Frontier. I have provided a link to the instructions, as well as an install video for you below. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.
