Looking For A Clear Lens, Red, Clearance Light

Updated 05/15/2025 | Published 05/12/2025

Question:

Good morning etrailer- I’m switching my new to me boat trailer to all LED and have found almost all that I need on your site as usual. There’s a pair of clearance lights I’m not seeing, and could be just not searching right though too. I need the rectangle 2.5” LED submersible part number AL91RB. Now that would work but I was wondering if that light came in a clear lens with red LEDs. I’ve found that light with clear lens and amber LED, but I was looking for red. Just curious if that exists. Thanks

Hey Zach,

We do have that clear one with amber, but the closest clear lens, red light that we have is # MCL13CR2B. It is going to be the same length but shorter in width. I attached a photo of the dimensions broken down for you. It has a more of a diamond design, but if that is not a big deal for you I would recommend going with that one. Otherwise the # AL91RB is the only one we have for the red light.

I'm sure you want them all to look the same, but are you open to some being a bit different in design? We have more options that way in terms of clear lens and red light.

@Zach Absolutely! What do you think of that alternate option? Do you think that will work for you?

@NickS my only issue with that is I have existing recessed mounting holes in the trailer that fit the AL91RB and would need something to be an exact match as far as size. I’m not sure the diamond shape would work.

@Zach If you have those pre drilled holes it would require some modification since the mounting holes would be closer together than on the # AL91Rb. It could work but I understand not wanting to drill if it already has pre drilled holes. Would the red lens ones still work for you?
