Hello, I have a 64inch bed 2500 without the OEM 5th wheel prep. Does this hitch require a gooseneck ball? Does it provide additional set back of better clearance/turn radius? Are there other couplers/adapter to the puck/king pin that will give additional clearance/turn radius. Thank you

Hey Joe thanks for the information! The PullRite ISR Series SuperLite 5th Wheel Hitch item # PUL53RR does not require a gooseneck ball because it attaches to industry standard base rails. Since your Ram truck has the puck system you would need the Adapter Rails item # C29BR to use this hitch. Please note this adapter will raise your hitch height 2-1/2".
The PullRite item # PUL53RR does offer a 3-1/2" of offset for additional turning clearance.
A way better option since your Ram 2500 has the factory tow package, is to use the PullRite OEX SuperLite 5th-Wheel Hitch item # PUL56ZR. This one drops directly into the pucks built into your Ram's bed so there's no need for an additional adapter.
The PullRite OEX item # PUL56ZR offers 7-1/2" of additional turning clearance so it'll be perfect for your short bed Ram 2500. It has a similar attachment method with an included adapter that attaches to your 5th wheel trailer's kingpin.
