Pintle Hitch and Plate for Commercial Trucks Towing Backhoe

Question:
I have 3 commercial type tandem 6X6 Trucks. 2 MACK and 1 Freightliner. I need the Type pintle hitch and Plate that will work best for installation for use on rough roads. Also include and accesories to aid the install ECT brkaes AIR and lights. Please advise. We will be hauling a backhoe. Thanks

Hi Jerry; an air compensated pintle hook like the Buyers Products 50 Ton Air Compensated Pintle Hook with Chamber and Plunger # 337PH50AC is going to be the best option. However, none of our pintle hitch plates like the # 3371809040 you looked at have holes that will line up with the pintle hook.
You will either have to modify the plate or take it to someone who can. Alternatively, you could go straight to a fabricator and have them fashion custom plates for your trucks. Also, we don't have any ECT brake systems or parts for them, only parts for towing standard trailers.
