Question:

Hi I have a Fulton T 2625 winch operating with a cable. The leaf spring which has a 90 degree bend over the ratchet forward and reverse setting broke. It mounts against the right hand side inner wall and has a 90 degree bend over the pawl to keep it in place. The winch is from 1990 year. Also I would like to order a strap and the special bolt to secure the start of the strap. Can you please set up the part numbers.

Hi Lorne; it sounds like you're referring to the Replacement 2-Speed Ratchet Spring # F86ZR. Does that look like the spring you're describing? We also have the Fulton Heavy-Duty Winch Strap with Hook - 20' x 2" - 4,000 lbs # FWS20HD0200.

The replacement bolt is something you will have to pick up at your local hardware store. It should be a grade 5 bolt of the largest possible diameter. The Fulton High-Performance 2-Speed Trailer Winch # F142412 is the current replacement for the T2625 if you decide you want to replace it altogether.
