Is There a Surfboard Carrier for 2018 Toyota 4Runner

Question:
2018 4runner. I wanted to know if you can strap paddleboards and surfboards directly ti this rack? Its hard to tell of there is a slight lipinch that goes around the top edge that would prevent strapping longer gear to it. Thank you!

Hey Mike the Front Runner Slimline II Platform Rack # FR97VV you referenced that fits your 2018 Toyota 4Runner does have a slightly raised lip that runs around the perimeter of the rack. Front Runner actually makes a surfboard carrier specifically designed for this rack though with the Vertical Surfboard or SUP Carrier for Front Runner Slimline II Platform Racks # FR46ZV. Check out the picture I attached to see how it looks loaded.
