Will the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit for a 1987 Toyota Pickup Fit the Rear Wheel Version

Your Part Number: BX3715 says its for a 1987 Toyota pickup 4WD, but mine is a rear wheel drive. Is it the same base plate?

Hey Don, I actually spoke with Blue Ox and they said that the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX3715 is not going to work with your 1987 Toyota Pickup with rear wheel drive. They said this base plate only works with the 4WD because that is the only one that is flat towable.

But the 2WD is indeed flat towable, it's just that the drive shaft must be disconnected at the rear dif. My question is, would the BX3715 base plate fit the 2WD as well as the 4WD? Could you run that past Blue Ox? Thanks!
