How Wide is the Replacement Inner Member for Dexter DX7.5L Actuator DX39FR?

Hello, I need to find out how wide the DX 39FR assembly is. Your sales team says it’s 2 inches wide, but that can’t be true if it fits over a 2 inch ball. It needs to at least be 2 inches plus the thickness of the metal. My trailer tongue that this needs to slide into is 2 5/8 wide.

Yeah, the Replacement Inner Member for Dexter DX7.5L Actuator item # DX39FR is definitely not 2" wide. I went out to the warehouse and measured it myself. The body is 3" wide but there's also these bolts on the sides that stick out making it 4" wide at two points.
We do not have an actuator that is going to fit such a narrow channel. My only option for you is to install the Dexter Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator item # T43397007K over the top of your coupler assuming it's 3" wide or less. If not let me know how wide your trailer coupler is in the comment box below.
